"for swimmers who still need a little support"

Introduction: 

The Beginner 1 stage is aimed at swimmers who have basic water confidence and that are comfortable in the swimming pool environment. They may have attended lessons in the past or just spent some family time in the pool.

Skill Required: 

  • Comfortable submerging eyes and head into the water. 

  • Can blow bubbles into the water.

  • Happy using a swimming noodle without adult support. 

  • Will attempt to jump in from the side of the pool with or without adult support.

​

Distance covered:

1m-5m (Supported) â€‹

 

Key objectives: 

  • Developing basic stroke technique.

  • Introducing breathing practices
